Raw Mango


Mango is the King of all fruits and is everyone's favorite. It is commonly growth is most of Asian countries. It is national fruit of India. It has a unique flavor, an interesting fragrance and promotes health. Mangoes can be eaten raw and ripe.
For many years, people are aware that there are so many health benefits of raw mango. Raw mango is high in both Vitamins C and B, far more than when it is fully ripe. Apart from Vitamins, it also carries iron and more than 80%  magnesium and calcium.
       
Health Benefits of Raw Mango : 


  • Prevent Dehydration : Eating raw mangoes with salt prevents the excessive loss of water from the body, helps to quench thirst and also protects one from the negative effects of very high temperature. Drinking unripe mango juice prevents the excessive loss of sodium chloride and iron to excessive sweating.
  • Indigestion and constipation:  It contain Vitamin B that helps you retain good health. It also help with indigestion and constipation problems. It cleanse the intestine and clear off many other infections.
  • Treat liver disorders: Raw mangoes help in treating liver disorders because they increase the secretion of bile acids and clean the intestines of bacterial infections.
  • Weight loss: Raw mango also rich with dietary fiber which helps body metabolism to increase the digestive capability. It also contain less sugar, therefore it wouldn’t increase sugar level nor fat into the body.
  • Gum disease: Due to presence of Vitamin C, it helps to soothe the gum and prevent bleeding.
  • Prevent diabetes: Raw  mango can also normalize the levels of insulin of the blood.
  • Morning sickness: The sour taste of it gives a relief to the nausea feeling, therefore,helps to avoid sickness.
  • Heart burn: Chewing a green mango help to reduce acidity in the digestive system. So it is good to avoid heartburn.
  • Anti-Bacteria: Consuming mango can help to clean the intestines from bacteria which also helps the body not to get easily sick.

It can be used as Salad, Juice, Chutney, Sweets, Pickles, Dish, Cosmetics, etc.


Side Effects of Raw Mango: 

  • Allergic Reaction: It is important for people with allergic history not to consume raw mango. Since it can produce some rubber and give effects of rash and itchiness. It can also give dermatitis near the lips as a blister. Therefore, it is better to clean the mango before consume.
  • Stomach Problem: It is suggested not to consume the raw mango before having some meal. Since in some people it can cause stomach problems. The acidity level inside the stomach can be increased due to the sour taste of its fruit. Therefore, people with stomach problem suggested to avoid this fruit.
  • Diabetic Patient: While raw mango is good for lower glycemic index, the ripe one is not too good for diabetic patient. Therefore, diabetic patients need to control the amount of consumed mango. Since the ripe mango is so sweet and may contain a lot of sugar.
